The course will introduce practical applications and concepts of the design and selection of air conditioning units using simple manual techniques and software verification methods. The design and selection will include the proper air conditioning unit itself and down to the design and selection of unit components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion devices and refrigeration accessories including heat pumps and load calculations.
